..From reading this article it almost seems as if you buy a bottle of this you will have the top on it that was designed by Bill Wall... Is that true..I am sure you will not get one made of silver that Bill originally designed and made but rather a facsimile to it... Any answers. It appears I am the only one that comments here.. I just saw that a bottle of this costs $130 on average and can only be purchased at a few select stores. It does have the top designed by Bill on it but is made of metal but not Sterling Silver.

So you answered your own question but to recap, Yes Bill hand made the whole top out of silver then it was cast in an alloy so it wouldn't be a $1500 bottle of tequila.
I seen a picture of the one Bill made... amazing work...nd the weight is incredible... Who owns the original... Does Bill own it or the maker of the Tequila...... and thanks for responding... I appreciate it..
How was it you got involved in making this... I know you travel to Mexico a lot... Was it because you were drinking this product in the first place and designed the top for yourself or was it a commissioned piece from the company itself... You must have met them or were introduced to them and became friends so that they asked for you to make this piece... Whatever I know it was probably a different challenge for you all together to come up with something out of the ordinary like this... Very classy bottle and I believe a very classy and elegant cap to go along with it...
Now hook up with Dan Akroyd and his new product "Crystal Head Vodka" where the bottle itself is skull shaped .... Making a sterling silver skull bottle cap for that piece would be awesome...

WHAT IS THIS ? ....I found this image on the BWL USA Fansite run by SLava... It caught my eys and I can not for the life of me figure out what exactly it is... I mean I can see it is a human face , probably a lady, and the hair...but why is it in the shape it is and what is it intended to be used for.....

Food & Beverage Magazine has done a write up on Deleon Tequila and of course mentioned Bill's work in crafting the top.
